What is the minimum order amount?
Our minimum order is $30 (excluding delivery). This applies to both pick-up and delivery orders.
When do I need to order by to receive my delivery on a specific day?
Our cut-off time for next-day delivery is 2pm. E.g. order by 2pm Monday for delivery on Tuesday, provided we deliver to your area that day. See the days we deliver to your area here: https://charliesfruitmarket.com.au/delivery-areas/
What is your delivery charge?
Our delivery charges are worked out depending on the distance you are located from our shop. The fee structure is as follows:
- Within 15km – $15 for orders under $50, $8 for orders $50-$100, Free for orders over $100
- Between 15-20km – $25 for orders under $100, $15 for orders over $100.
We no longer deliver outside of 20km from our shop. We do however offer a Click & Collect option to all customers.
What times do you deliver?
Our deliveries are done in the morning (usually 6am-12pm).
We do not deliver in the afternoon/evening.
Do I need to be home to accept the order?
No, you don’t! The box will be left in a safe location outside your house. If there is a specific place you would like us to leave it, simply let us know the best place in the delivery instructions.
The exception to this is gated communities or secured apartments. If we are unable to gain access to leave the box at your door or in an apartment mail room/lobby, we will not be able to leave the order for you. If you’re not going to be home but you’re able to give remote access, please ensure this is noted in your delivery instructions so our driver can call you when they’re delivering.
If you have purchased milk or other refrigerated products, we suggest leaving an esky out where the driver is able to access.
What payment methods do you take?
We only accept credit/debit card payments online. All orders must be paid for prior to the order being packed/delivered.
Do you accept cash on delivery?
No we don’t. Payment must be completed via the website before an order is packed/delivered.
Do you deliver to my suburb?
Maybe! You can search your suburb on this page: https://charliesfruitmarket.com.au/delivery-areas
If you do not see your suburb on that list, or your suburb states “We do not deliver to this area”, we do not currently deliver there. We have just a small delivery company so we’re limited in the distance we can travel.
If you’d like to see your suburb on our delivery area in future, please contact us through the Contact form (https://charliesfruitmarket.com.au/contact-us/). The more requests we get for a suburb, the more likely we will be to add it to our area.
If we don’t currently service your suburb, please do not select a suburb close to you and write your actual suburb in the description or address line in order to get the order through. We will be unable to deliver your order and you will be refunded instead.
The website is only giving me the option for “Pick up in-store”, how do I get delivery?
If you don’t currently have a user account or are not logged in, the website doesn’t yet know where you are located so it will display “Pick up in-store” by default.
If you’re in the “Basket” page, there should be a button that says “Proceed to Checkout”. Click this button and the Checkout page will have sections to fill out your delivery address, after which it will allow you to change to delivery (provided we deliver to your suburb).
